Salon foil is a tactile product — it has to tear straight off the dispenser and hold a snug fold against the strand while colour develops. Soft-temper aluminium plus embossing delivers both; embossing also adds grip so it doesn't slip. See our aluminium foil guide.

Why embossed salon foil?
Embossing does two jobs: it adds grip so the foil doesn't slide off the strand, and it controls the tear so each sheet comes off the dispenser straight. Plain foil is cheaper but slippery and tears less cleanly — most stylists prefer embossed.
What thickness do colourists prefer?
16µm is the all-round standard — light, foldable, holds heat evenly. 18–20µm is sturdier for thick sections and balayage boards; 14µm is economy. We supply all gauges soft-temper for a snug fold.
Pop-up sheets, rolls or pre-cut?
Pop-up interfolded sheets dispense one at a time for speed at the chair; rolls suit custom lengths; pre-cut sheets suit fixed workflows. We supply all three, plus custom widths.
Can you private-label for our salon brand?
Yes — full private label and co-brand on dispenser boxes and shrink packs, plus coloured and custom-embossed foil. This is a high-volume OEM line for distributors and salon chains.
Coloured foil — does the colour transfer?
No — the colour is a cured lacquer on the outer face only; the inner face stays clean food-grade aluminium. Colours help colourists code sections (e.g. by developer strength).
