Foil barrier + matched seal lacquer:
hermetic in transit, clean peel in hand.
Hermetic seal in the cold chain; clean peel at the kitchen table.
Dairy lidding must seal hermetically to survive the cold chain, then peel cleanly without tearing the cup flange or splashing. We match seal lacquer to your exact rim and run seal-force trials before production. See our heat-seal foil line for trays and bottles.
What buyers ask before placing an order.
Will it seal to my cup?
We match the heat-seal lacquer to your exact rim substrate (PP, PS, PET or PVC) and run lab seal trials against your cup before production. Send a sample cup with your RFQ and we confirm the seal window and peel force.
Peelable or weld lids?
Peelable lids open by hand with a clean 2–6 N/15mm peel — standard for milk, yogurt and jelly. Weld (lock) lids are permanent, tamper-evident and opened by piercing. We tune the lacquer to your choice.
Foil or PET/foil/PE lid?
Plain foil + lacquer is the economy hermetic lid. PET/foil/PE laminate adds puncture resistance and a glossier printable top — used for ready meals and premium dairy. We'll advise per application.
Die-cut to my diameter?
Yes — any diameter or shape to ±0.3mm, with or without a pull tab, supplied counted or on reel for automatic lidding machines. Tooling is a one-time quoted cost.
Can you reverse-print under the topcoat?
Yes — reverse/trap printing protects the ink and gives a glossy finish, up to 9 colours gravure with Pantone matching kept on file.
What's the MOQ and lead time?
From 300,000 lids or a 1-tonne reel, 20–25 days. We seal-trial against your cup and send sample lids so you can run them on your filling and sealing line before the full order.
