A frozen wrapper must stay flexible at -25°C and release clean.
Frozen wraps fail in two ways: cracking when cold and sticking to the melting surface. A foil + paper/wax build stays flexible to -25°C, blocks moisture to prevent freezer burn, and releases clean. Related guide: cold-chain food packaging.
What buyers ask before placing an order.
Will the wrapper crack in the freezer?
No — our foil/paper and wax-laminate builds are specced for cold flexibility down to -25°C, so they wrap and unwrap without cracking even straight from the blast freezer.
How does it prevent freezer burn?
The aluminium layer is a near-total moisture and light barrier (WVTR < 2 g/m²·24h), which stops the sublimation that causes freezer burn and protects colour and flavour over long frozen storage.
Reel or pre-cut for our line?
Both — reel for automatic flow-wrap and ice-lolly wrapping machines, or pre-cut sheets for semi-auto and hand wrapping. Tell us your machine and we'll spec web width and registration marks.
Can you match our brand colours?
Yes — up to 8 colours gravure with Pantone-referenced matching (ΔE < 2.0), in gloss, matte or metallic finish. We keep colour targets on file for repeat seasonal runs.
Does the wrapper release cleanly from a melty bar?
Yes — the inner wax/lacquer layer is tuned for clean release so the wrapper peels off without pulling the surface of the ice cream or lolly.
What's the MOQ and lead time?
From 100,000 wrappers or a 1-tonne reel, 18–22 days. Samples ship in 7–10 days, including a cold-flex swatch you can freeze-test at -25°C before committing.
